I grew up in Ottawa, Canada, in a family originally from Northern Ireland. In 2019 I was awarded second prize in the National Poetry Competition, and was a winner in the Live Canon pamphlet competition with My Shrink is Pregnant. In 2016 I was published in Primers Volume One by Nine Arches Press. My collection, The Attitudes, was published also by Nine Arches in April 2021. A member of three poetry groups (Malika’s Poetry Kitchen, Red Door Poets, and Octavo) I’m also singer-songwriter in the band A Woman in Goggles, which consists of five people who frequently choose not to wear goggles.
